Cätschi

Catharina “Cätschi” Streit (33) works as the head of quality assurance for a big coffee roasting house in Hamburg. As an ex-hockey player and triathlete she’s inherently up for any adventure. It was her idea to take part in the Atlantic Challenge and convinced Meike. Cätschi loves challenges and now she wants to row across the Atlantic.

The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge – short TWAC – is known as „the world's toughest row“.

Farewell Tour

Goodbye Doris! During the last training session on the Alster, Doris is accompanied by a large boat convoy. An emotional day that is rounded off with a very special highlight. In addition, sports psychologist Anett plays a round of beach volleyball with the girls.

 

Get ready

After the big farewell on the Alster packing is next. First the women have to sort their food for 50 days and then boat "Doris" is loaded.

 

Shipping

For the last time the girls are bringing "Doris" to England. Before shipping her to La Gomera Charlie and his team have to install the water maker and other vital equipment into the boat.
